How to design a Display Ad
Display ads should include the following content:
• Your logo and company name
• Message
• Promotion
• Call to Action (linked to your website or landing page)
In order to comply with exchange standards and pass the creative audit, your Display Ads need to include brand identification which is also immediately visible on your linked landing page or website. This can be your logo, an icon, or company name.
Display Ad Templates
The following Display Ad sizes are required for Sharpdots Omni Mail Campaigns:
160 x 600 (Google ads, desktop, tablet)
300 x 250 (Google and social ads, desktop, tablet, mobile)
728 x 90 (Google ads, desktop)
1200 x 628 (Facebook social media ads)
Omni Mail Display Ads must meet these exact file dimensions. Ads that deviate from the template dimensions cannot be served.
Display Ad file formats
Our Display Ad templates are .psd Photoshop files. However, in order to prepare your Display Ad you must save it as one of the following files types:
• .jpg ( or jpeg )
• .png.
• gif ( animated image )
The following file types are not accepted:
• .psd ( photoshop document )
• .ai ( adobe illustrator )
• .swf ( flash )
• .pict
Display Ad file size
Files greater than a 100 kb per file will NOT be served, as they may be rejected by the Ad server and not load on the user’s browser. For the best results, compressed images for web are preferred:
• 40 KB per file is optimal
• 100 KB per file or greater will be rejected
